Company

Company name is formed by two Kyrgyz words: "El" - people and "Cat" - letter, "People's Letter".

We are the communication company. Our first steps were electronic mail service - it was a complete novelty for that time. In fact the history of our company is a major part in development of the Internet in Kyrgyzstan.

Back in 1992 we had about a dozen of customers of this brand new way of communication. Very few people had modems so the final deliveries were made "on foot" with a diskette. Precisely on-time investments helped to set-up a modem pool and regular connection with Moscow. All this made "ElCat" first and reliable e-mail and, since 1995, Internet service provider. Today "ElCat" is the first-rate Internet Service Provider equipped with the latest hardware. All "ElCat" specialists are graduated technicians.

"ElCat" personnel took part in creation of the Country's Automatic Election System CAS "Shailoo" and state's computer network SCN.

Our Company have put much effort and resources into development of telecommunication sphere of Kyrgyzstan. Repeatedly granted with the gold medals of International Fair "KyrgyzExpo" - "For the development of the Internet in Kyrgyzstan"
